INTIX Community Webinar: Can We Hug Again?

Type:  Live Webinar

Date: July 9, 2020

Presenter(s):

Michael Lorenc, Google

Description:

Data is driving the journey but there is no one road map and there is certainly no one playbook – our industry recovery will be driven by local requirements and sentiments.  The sense and need of community and belonging are heighten and there is definitely a pent-up demand for “live events” but is that enough to overcome the health and economic concerns?  Keeping our “casual fan” engaged is becoming more difficult. Your “superfans” are eager to return (some might choose to wait a bit just to make sure it’s safe), but what about the casual fan who’s been stuck/safe at home and developing new habits and routines?  Regardless of vertical research after research shows that around 30% of past event attendees remain “unsure” when they will be willing to return to live events.  Keeping them engaged, informed, and entertained now can make a big difference when “the curtain rises” again.
