Penguins playing in fourth outdoor game, one more than Flyers

PITTSBURGH -- A look at the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series "By the Numbers."
2 -- The 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series will be the second regular-season NHL game played outdoors at Heinz Field (2011 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic, WSH at PIT).
3 -- The Philadelphia Flyers will be playing in their third regular-season NHL game played outdoors (2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic at BOS, 2012 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic vs. NYR).
4 -- The Pittsburgh Penguinswill be playing in their fourth regular-season NHL game played outdoors (2008 Amp Energy NHL Winter Classic at BUF, 2011 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic vs. WSH, 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series at CHI).
10 -- Number of hours the The PreGame, the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series' fan festival, will be open at the Stage AE Outdoor Music Stage and Parking Lot. The hockey-themed, family friendly official pre-game fan festival will be free of charge and open to the public, featuring hockey attractions, special appearances, live music, food and more. The PreGame, which will include the NHL Centennial Fan Arena museum, will be open from 3-8 p.m. on both Friday, Feb. 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25.
22 -- The 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series on Feb. 25 will be the 22nd regular-season NHL game played outdoors, and the fourth and final such game of the 2016-2017 season (2016 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic on Oct. 23, 2016; the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic on Jan 1, 2017; and the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic on Jan. 2, 2017). Of the 21 outdoor games played, nine have been played in baseball parks, 11 have played at football venues, and one at a soccer stadium.
33 -- Number of goals and assists registered by Penguins captain Sidney Crosby heading into the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series. Crosby leads the League in goals and is second in points through games played Feb. 22 (33-33-66 in 53 GP).
35 -- Total number of Stanley Cup Playoff games played between the Penguins and Flyers. In six Playoff series, the Flyers hold a 4-2 advantage, including a win in their most recent meeting in the 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
50 -- Both clubs are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2016-17. The Penguins and Flyers entered the NHL with four other teams in the 1967 NHL expansion (California Golden Seals, Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota North Stars, and the St. Louis Blues).

The 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series will be the second matchup between the two teams this season. The Penguins defeated the Flyers, 5-4 in the only matchup played this season on Oct. 29.

Each bottle is an exact replica - down to the embossed "57" on the bottle's neck - of the signature Heinz Ketchup 14-ounce glass bottle. Each bottle measures 35 feet by 9 feet, and if filled, would each contain 1,664,000 fluid ounces of Heinz Ketchup, according to HeinzField.com.

30,799 -- Number of registered hockey players in Pennsylvania, according to USA Hockey. This participation total for the Keystone State has increased 27 percent over the past decade.
96,500 -- Weight, in pounds, of the refrigeration trailer that will be traveling to the NHL's outdoor games.
100,000 -- As part of the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series Legacy Project, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, the National Hockey League and PPG are providing $100,000 to fund an upgrade to the South Park Ice Skating Rink. Construction will begin in mid-March.
