A newly issued application from the ticketing marketplace promises to help fans find and secure great deals with the least amount of difficulty. Co-founders Brett Goldberg and Chris O'Brien think the app can benefit both fans and the ticketing business by offering greater transparency and efficiency to the ticketing industry. The app enables users to customize their individual preferences, and Goldberg reports about 15 percent of total transactions have come through the app since its launch, versus 3 percent six months ago. He also foresees the app commanding nearly 40 percent of all TickPick transactions by the end of next year, and TickPick already sees a much higher portion of individuals completing transactions through the app compared to individuals who visit its mobile Web. Goldberg notes a key feature of the TickPick app is an opening screen listing the most popular events in the user's area, along with the option to view all of "Your Performers," which is every performer the user has previously searched for. Upon selecting a performer, the user can choose any upcoming event and find all available tickets, with each event assigned a color-coded dollar symbol to tell users how expensive ticket prices are. "We take the guesswork and frustration out of buying tickets by eliminating service fees and by ranking tickets via a Score Report," Goldberg says.
