Burlington, Ontario: August 11, 2016 – Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) announced today, upgrades to its online ticketing registration system to enhance and streamline the registration process and provide better customer service to its guests. The new system, SRO4, launches a cloud-based, responsive registration system which allows for easier purchasing of camps, programs, general admission tickets and memberships online.
“Our team aspires to give our guests a high quality experience with every interaction,” says RBG CEO, Mark Runciman. “SRO4 allows us to consolidate many of our backend operations so we can create a more seamless experience for both our team and guests.”
SRO4 was created by ticketing software company TopTix and enables each department to manage their business from one central system. Whether running financial reports, setting up special events, managing registration details for program participants or making updates to the website, SRO4 allows each department to input their content without having to rely on IT. SRO4 gives RBG great flexibility to integrate with other software services that will help support their mission and customer service goals.
RBG plans to fully implement the system following its busy summer season.
RBG encompasses 1,090 hectares (2,700 acres) of horticultural, environmental and historical significance, and is a National Historic Site and registered charitable organization with a mandate to bring people together with plants and nature.
Since 2000, TopTix, Ltd has been supplying software for ticketing, fundraising and customer relationship management. Their flagship platform, SRO (Standing Room Only), supports over 500 institutions, processing 80 million tickets a year.
