SeatGeek Taps TopTix's Advanced Software to Power Move Into Primary Ticketing

New York, NY (July 29, 2016) -- SeatGeek and TopTix are pleased to announce a strategic partnership that enables SeatGeek to leverage TopTix’s advanced SRO4 software to provide primary ticketing and create an open ticket marketplace.
SeatGeek will integrate with SRO4’s API to create a seamless ticket buying and selling experience between the primary and secondary markets. With its core ticketing, CRM, sales and marketing capabilities, SRO4 will provide SeatGeek with essential backend functionality for primary tickets to be sold, fulfilled and delivered on any site or mobile application of an organization’s choosing.

During the evaluation process, the key criteria that set SRO4 apart from other ticketing systems included SRO4’s ability to process thousands of tickets simultaneously; its open API to integrate with SeatGeek’s cutting edge mobile consumer experience as well as other services and allow for a seamless exchange of data; and its rules-based engine, which enables dynamic pricing and promotions that respond to customer activity and needs.
Currently, a full two-thirds of SeatGeek’s transactions occur on mobile devices, and SeatGeek’s apps incorporate best in class technology to make it easy for fans to buy, sell and transfer tickets to and from other fans with just a few taps. With the SRO4 integration, SeatGeek will now provide a seamless bridge between selling and buying both primary and secondary tickets on any device.
