We have worked closely with the AXS product team to complete integration with their Outbox ticketing system and with the AXS mobile app. On June 8th, we are launching our first integrated AXS concert event at the Target Center in Minneapolis; upgrades for the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis concert will be available via the AXS Mobile App. The Valley View Casino Center, in San Diego, will begin offering upgrades for the Jame Taylor concert on June 18th.
Event attendees must have tickets in their My AXS accounts to be able to purchase upgrades. Within the AXS Mobile App, they will select the ‘Seat Upgrade’ option from the menu bar and then select the venue they are attending. Once they select the event at which they want to upgrade, they will see a list of any ticket they have eligible for upgrade at that event. After they have choose the seats they want to upgrade, they can view upgrade options and complete a purchase - they will use their mobile tickets to move to their new seat locations.
The upgrade app sources inventory directly from the venue database and lists the seats that are available in the box office so venues using this feature aren’t required to put inventory aside specifically for upgrades (although they can if they choose to). Any upgrade purchased will be marked accordingly in the Outbox backend ticketing system and can be tracked using the Pogoseat dashboard.
Pogoseat, AEG and AXS are collaborating to increase distribution of the upgrade technology at AXS ticketed venues and to implement new features to enhance the upgrade platform for AEG properties and the experience for event attendees. Stay tuned for more big announcements to come!
