Vendini grabs $20 mln Series A from Level Equity - PE HUB

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – May 31, 2016 – Vendini, the company that makes the business of live events simple with industry-leading software and services, today announced it has raised $20 million in Series A funding from New York City-based private investment firm, Level Equity. Founded in 2001, the company will use the new funding to hire more talent, enhance the current platform and add more features and functionality.
Designed with simplicity in mind and founded for mid-range live event organizations, Vendini has continued to develop new products to help venues that have been historically underserved — whether they are too small for big-name ticketing providers or need more functionality than smaller options can provide. Today, Vendini works with over 4,000 venues across performing arts, festivals, live music and nightclubs, museums, comedy, sports, universities and more.
