Study at ODU: Brokers Stubbing Out Scalpers
The first academic study of ticket brokers has been conducted by Old Dominion University professor Stephen Shapiro and University of Memphis researcher Joris Drayer, and the results indicate that such brokers are increasingly legitimate, self-regulating businesspeople who offer a convenient and trustworthy service.
